Prepared by the Spirit
Day 1: Prepared by the Spirit
Reading: Acts 2:1-4
Devotional: The disciples waited obediently in Jerusalem, and when God's Spirit arrived, heaven and earth fused together in miraculous unity. Like fusion in physics—where elements unite inseparably—Pentecost represents God joining His Spirit with His people. The question isn't whether God can empower you, but whether you're willing to wait and prepare. Preparation isn't about perfecting yourself; it's about positioning yourself to receive what only God can give. The same Spirit that enabled ordinary fishermen to change the world dwells in you. Are you prepared for the moment God has called you to? Today, ask God to fill you afresh with His Spirit, not for your glory, but so others might encounter Jesus through you.
