Day 3: The Unprepared Heart


Reading: Matthew 7:21-23


Devotional: Not everyone who shows up is prepared. Some attend church, sing the songs, and know the language but have never truly encountered Jesus. They're like guests arriving at Thanksgiving empty-handed—present but unprepared. Jesus warns that many will say "Lord, Lord," but He will reply, "I never knew you." Relationship, not religion, is what matters. You can't inherit faith from your parents or earn salvation through good deeds. God has no grandchildren, only children who personally surrender to Christ. If you've been going through the motions, today is your day to get real with God. Don't be unprepared for eternity. Examine your heart: Do you truly know Jesus, or do you just know about Him?
