Day 5: Being the Church in Your World

Reading: Matthew 5:13-16; 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Devotional: The world doesn't need to see Christians pretending to be perfect; they need to see broken people made whole by a powerful God. Your weakness isn't a disqualification—it's your greatest tool for ministry. When you're honest about your struggles and point to God's strength in your weakness, you become relatable and authentic. This is how the church impacts the world.

You don't need a program to be a witness. You simply need to be faithful in the moments God gives you. The man joyful about his $40 haircut wasn't following an evangelism strategy—he was living out his faith naturally, sharing hope with those around him. Every conversation, every transaction, every relationship is an opportunity to be the church. Stop waiting for the perfect moment or the right words. Just be present, be authentic, and let God's strength shine through your weakness. Where is God calling you to be the church today?
