Live with Urgency
Day 3: Living with Urgency
Reading: James 4:13-17; Ephesians 5:15-17
Devotional: If you had six months to live, what would you change? This sobering question reveals our true priorities. The disciples lived with constant awareness that their time was limited and their mission was urgent. They didn't waste days on trivial pursuits or comfortable routines. Matthias and Joseph Barsabbas both lived faithfully, whether chosen or not, because their urgency came from devotion to Christ, not recognition from others. Your life is a vapor—here today, gone tomorrow. This isn't meant to frighten but to focus you. Every conversation is an opportunity. Every relationship matters. Every day is a gift to make much of Jesus. What are you doing with your time that will echo in eternity? Don't wait for a crisis to live with purpose. Start today.
