At Faith Baptist Kenmare, our goal is to reach and disciple men. That’s why our mission statement for our men's ministry is, “We build men up to bless women and children.” If God’s sons' worship and obey Jesus Christ and live by the power of the Holy Spirit, the domino effect will see marriages, families, and entire cultures transformed by the power of the Gospel.
What that looks like practically is that we meet weekly for a men’s small group in two different settings. First, on Wednesday mornings at 6:30 am, a group of men meets at M&K Pizza Hub for breakfast and a Bible study. This study is a verse-by-verse study of various books of the Bible, along with discussion and prayer. Second, on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm, Victory Formation meets at Pastor Mike's home. Victory Formation begins with a video message, sent out earlier in the week, that the group watches individually. As we meet, we open our Bibles to learn and open a discussion to challenge each other into a deeper walk with Jesus. We believe that the Word of God isn’t just for us to read, it’s to be lived out in community with fellow believers is one of the ways God the Father allows us to learn and grow to become more like His Son Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.
