Overcoming Fear with Faith

Reading: Psalm 27:1-14

Devotional: Fear of the dark, both literal and metaphorical, is a common human experience. Yet the Psalmist declares, "The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?" As believers, we're called to walk by faith, not by sight. This doesn't mean we won't face darkness or challenges, but that we have a constant source of light and strength in God's presence. Reflect on areas where fear may be holding you back. How can you practically rely on God's presence and promises to overcome these fears? Remember, "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
